Racoon Creek

The day after a decision that will changes the lives of many people for at least the next 4 years so many people are sitting back and reflecting on the state of things.

Yesteday, we as a country of what I assumed were sound minded people, felt the best course of travel for this country was in a vehicle driven by a Reality TV star. This post isn’t going to focus on that…I imagine I’ll drive into the nitty gritty of the election in the next couple of days when I can think straight and reflect fully on what just happened.

In this moment of solace I did want to take a moment to share some photos that were taken one beautiful day at Raccoon Creek State Park by Hookstown, Pa. This was my first time at this park and one take away from my travels there is that this park is massive. At one point in the evening before the sun got too low in the sky we ventured into the woods to follow the Forest Trail. After walking for roughly 2 miles we felt that it was probably in our best interest to turn around and heard back to the car or be lost in the darkness.

Before that I had an opportunity to take some pictures that fully captured the essence of fall in SWPA. The only picture using a “filter” is the selfie, but what else would you expect?
